Playgroups & Baby Classes
We are thrilled to introduce a new range of groups and classes for babies of each age and stage.

What should I bring to the group/class
From Day One is a purpose-built space for mums and their babies, meaning you don't need to bring anything. We have changing stations with nappies, wipes and emergency sanitary products, plus a full kitchen with access to a fridge, microwave and kettle. Visit our welcome guide for more details.
How long do the classes go for?
The sessions vary in length:
Mother's Groups - 60 minutes
Playgroups - 90 minutes
Purposeful Play sessions with The Jelly Bean Gym- 30 minute class + 15 minutes social time
The mezzanine feeding floor is available for us to feed or change before or after your sessions, so there is no rush to leave.
WHICH GROUP SHOULD I ATTEND FIRST?
Most of our community join a Mother's Group first. Mother's Groups are designed to support you through the first few months of your postpartum journey, and connect you during this time with others in the same stage. After 1 - 2 intakes together, many mums who have met in their Mother's Groups go on to join a Playgroup or baby class together.
How many people are in each class?
We cap our group numbers between 8 - 10 to ensure you can make meaningful connections with other group members, and also to ensure you receive the attention you deserve from guest speakers and instructors.
Playgroups
PLAYGROUP FOR 6 MONTH+ MOVERS
Playgroup is best for 6+ Month Movers as a 9-10 week term group. This is a social group open to all mums (first and second+) for an unstructured session for connection and conversation.
Your babies will be entertained with age-appropriate developmental toys each week, while you sit back and enjoy a hot beverage and a snack.
$25 per class / 2 hour open sessions / 9 or 10 week term
For 12 month+ babies we recommend joining a play-based speech and language development Playgroup.

PURPOSEFUL PLAY WITH THE JELLY BEAN GYM
Join our warm community of families as we develop through movement, music, and play. Each class is thoughtfully designed to build your baby's physical literacy through expert-guided play.
You'll learn practical skills to support your baby's natural development, all while connecting with other parents on the same journey as you.
$30 per class / 9 - 11 week terms
